Founded in the latter half of the twentieth century, CEDIT – Ceramiche d’Italia was an important part of the history of Italian industrial design, making radical innovations in the approach to ceramic products thanks to key collaborations with some of the most important artists, architects and designers of their generation. These collections were designed by leading figures such as Marco Zanuso, Ettore Sottsass, Sergio Asti, Emilio Scanavino, Mimmo Rotella and Gino Marotta – designers of the highest creative standards – and were accompanied by individual ceramic pieces designed by italian masters.
